Malaysian exhibitors at Hannover Messe 2019

The Malaysian manufacturing sector is one with immense potential. This is especially true for companies which go the extra mile and export their products to other countries. 17 of them will represent Malaysia at the forthcoming Hannover Messe from 13. to 17. July 2020.

Once again, Malaysia’s external trade promotion agency MATRADE will be organising the country’s presentation in this important event. This year, MATRADE arranged for setting up their pavilions in three halls, thus being able to address potential customers more precisely in line with the halls’ leading themes.

MATRADE also offers to organise pre-arranged B2B meetings with any of the companies. A comprehensive list of the exhibitors’ products and services can be downloaded here. There is also a special website which in addition features promotional videos of some of the exhibiting companies. Interested visitors may contact MATRADE’s office in Frankfurt (+44-69-247501514, frankfurt@matrade.gov.my)

While Malaysia has a reputation of being a reliable partner for Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), more and more companies are engaging in Original Brand Manufacturing (OBM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM). This development is fully supported by MATRADE, whose goal according to CEO Wan Latiff is to brand the “Made in Malaysia” label and make it synonymous with excellence, reliability and trustworthiness.

The logo “Made in Malaysia” was introduced some 20 years ago when Malaysia – as many other countries in the region – were shaken by a severe financial crisis. The logo, placed prominently on products manufactured by homegrown companies, initially aimed at increasing trust and confidence among local consumers, and has today become a respected trademark globally.
