SHAH ALAM: The Bukit Aman forensic team has conducted an inspection at the home of former TV3 newscaster Zalina Azman who has been reported missing since last year.

Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said, however, no evidence was found to help in the investigation of the case.

The investigation was carried out at about 10am yesterday to find new evidence, he said in a brief statement yesterday, Bernama reported.

Police received a report from Zalina’s son Mikhael Norman, 33, on Nov 29 last year on the disappearance of the 58-year-old Zalina. Prior to the report, her son had been trying to contact her since Nov 24.

Police believe Zalina is still in the country as there has been no outbound movement involving her.

Early last month, police also said that a contractor and two of his workers were not “persons of interest” in the search for Zalina.
