Together with the recently launched C53 entry-level smartphone, realme today has also debuted its latest television, the realme smart 4K TV. The new product boasts a high resolution panel, a MediaTek processor, and a slew of features to provide you with a home cinema experience and more.
The realme smart 4K TV is equipped with a decently sized 50-inch display with slim bezels, and measures at 111cm wide, 64.7cm tall (with stand), 7.5cm thick, and weighs around 13.1kg. As implied by the product’s name, its panel is capable of supporting up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixel) resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9, a viewing angle of 178-degrees, 1.07B colour output, 90% SCI P3 and 83% NTSC wide colour gamut, as well as featuring Dolby Vision and Chroma Boost image enhancements. It’s also worth noting that the TV’s screen also comes with TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light content.
In terms of sound, onboard are quad Dolby Audio and DTS-tuned 24W stereo speakers – each comprising one full range speaker and one tweeter, offering an immersive and powerful audio experience. In addition, also equipped on the realme smart 4K TV are multiple microphones for voice-based commands.
Under the hood is a MediaTek chipset, which is paired together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, handling everything software and smart related operations on the realme smart 4K TV is the Android TV operating system that’s based on Android 10, along with Google Assistant and Google Chromecast capabilities. Also pre-installed are numerous streaming apps including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and so on.
Besides that, featured on the TV are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and infrared connectivity support, as well as a single HDMI ARC port, two HDMI, two USB-As, an ethernet LAN port, and also AV, Tuner and ANT ports. Included together with the product is a compatible remote control unit that supports both Bluetooth and Infrared connections.
The new realme smart 4K TV is available now exclusively via the brand’s official online store on Shopee. To commemorate its launch, realme is offering the TV at a special, limited time promotional price of only RM1,099 from today until 8 June 2023. Once this period ends, it will retail for RM1,599.
