It was announced that the upcoming OnePlus 11 will be launching on 7 February but ahead of the big event, the company has revealed even more details about the phone as well as another important date. A whole month ahead of the global launch, the 11 will be unveiled in China on 4 January.

We already knew from OnePlus that the flagship will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, Hasselblad image-tuning for its cameras, and the return of the iconic alert slider. Now, OnePlus China revealed on Weibo that it will come with either 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The only major things left to be unveiled are the specs for the display and the three cameras placed on a big circular island that it teased. If recent leaks are to be believed, the phone might be fitted with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

As for the Hasselblad cameras, reports claim that the setup will consist of a 50MP primary, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom — if true, the biggest upgrade from the 10 Pro would be the telephoto sensor. The brand is expected to ship the phone with ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 right out of the box.

The company will also be launching the Buds Pro 2 alongside the 11 in China. The high-end earbuds are expected to feature active noise cancellation just like their predecessor and seem to carry a similar design with stems. Both the upcoming earbuds and flagship smartphone will be released in matching black and green.

With the earlier debut in China, we can expect to find out all the specs of the OnePlus 11 ahead of the international launch save for the pricing outside of China. In related news, OnePlus and OPPO have recently renewed their partnership with the latter planning to invest CNY10 billion (~RM6.35 billion) into OnePlus over the next three years.
