Lenovo Legion Y700 Launches China

Lenovo has officially launched the Y700 in China, the first ever tablet released under its gaming oriented Legion sub-brand. Prior to this, the company had already released a number of teasers earlier in January via its official account on Weibo, which provided glimpses of the device’s design and some of its specifications.

From the launch, we now know that the new Lenovo Legion Y700 sports an 8.8-inch flat LCD panel with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 500 nits max brightness, and HDR10 support. While its display outputs at 16:10 aspect ratio by default, there is a built-in feature that bumps it up to 21:9. Of course, activating this mode will fill the top and bottom of the screen with black bars, but doing so will enable for more horizontal screen space for certain games such as Mobile Legends and so on.
