Mirroring the move by several consumer electronic companies out there, ASUS Malaysia has recently announced a Flood Relief Program to provide assistance to ASUS product owners that have been affected by the recent flood.
Under the program which will last until 31 January 2022, ASUS will be waiving the inspection and labour cost on flood-damaged ASUS products. However, the ASUS Flood Relief Program has much stricter terms and conditions as compared to similar programs by other companies.
For example, the owners must be a resident of Klang Valley, Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. Additionally, the TnC also noted that they have to show a utility bill as proof of residence.
On top of that, the program also only covers All-in-One PCs, desktop PCs, laptops, and smartphones that are still under warranty period. Those who are located in Klang Valley can bring their flood-damaged products to ASUS Authorized Service Center in Plaza Low Yat, Bukit Raja Klang, or Endah Parade.
As for those who reside in other eligible states, they may utilize the company’s Pick Up & Return service instead. For further clarifications, you may contact ASUS Careline at 1-300-88-3495 or through its Telegram channel.
